Finally! The Midterm Blog!
It has been a few weeks in the making, but the midterm blog is finally here.
If you are reading this, you are probably a student in ENGL 222 for the fall semester.
What are we doing? We are blogging our thoughts, our opinions, our journal entries, our original ideas...whatever..about the literature we are studying this semester.
This will be our midterm project as well as our final project. No tests. No group activities. Just a blog.
Great idea, right?
The plan is to make the blog personal. Creative. Interesting. Unique.
The plan is to create a medium to share pictures, ideas, and thoughts about what we are reading, connections with current events, out-of-the-box type of comments that the discussion boards, questions, and papers may miss.
The plan is to create a conversational forum to create a monologue for those who can't participate in the Blackboard IM discussions, to create some dialogue to continue those BB IM discussions, or to just ramble with the ideas that come to you as you read.
Each student and I will have a blog.
All blogs will be listed on the Main Class Blog, which is here.
You can access all of the created blogs through the Blog List which will be at the side of the main page.
Comments are welcome on any and all posts on any and all blogs, including the main class blog.
The more you post, the better and the more fun this will be.
It is always fun to share ideas, to examine new thoughts about what we are reading, and to learn about different perspectives.
Have fun!
